We only had one day in Padua, but we made the most of it! The staff at Hotel Belludi contacted us beforehand to find out when we would arrive. They arranged for us to get into our room early, which was very kind. And they helped us arrange transportation to the Venice airport, which is about a 45 minute drive from Padua.
The room was small but very effectively designed. A high ceiling helps to make the room feel quite spacious. There is a sophisticated, Illy coffee machine and a mini-bar. We were told to help ourselves to items in the mini-bar at no extra charge. Sadly, we did not consume the free wine!
The staff also got breakfast started for us a half hour before the usual opening time on Sunday morning. The breakfast contained an unusually wide assortment, including nice fruit, cheeses, breads, cakes, and eggs cooked to order.
The hotel is located right next to the Saint Anthony church complex, about a 10-minute walk from the main historic district. We definitely will return!
