"Our room was recently renovated with new carpet, paint, bathroom and fixtures. The "needs for improvement" are: light, a lamp needs to be added to the desk and a pole lamp in the corner near the couch; there's no closet or rack with hangers to hang anything; the A/C unit is loud. None of the above is a deal breaker as we would stay here again."

"Beautiful family owned resort hotel. This was definitely the best place we stayed at for our trip. Staff were friendly and helpful, the resort was clean, food was good, and it had its own beach. They had live music in the bar and made fires on the beach for everyone. You really could not ask for much more."

"We were pleasantly surprised for our one night stay. The pool was warm and nice and hot tub was nice as well. Breakfast was basic, but did the job and the pancakes were a nice option for warm food. Would stay again if in the area. Great value for the price!"

"We loved our stay here! Our room had an extra twin bed in it’s own little space which was perfect for our family with two teenagers who are no longer willing to share a bed! The balcony gave us a great view and the breakfast was great! We would definitely book here again!!"

"Very satisfied with our room in the lodge and the owners/staff are friendly and accommodating. The lodge has a very interesting history and I loved the antique decor. We took a peek at the motel rooms they also have and those are decorated in 60s/70s theme, clean and large windows that look out to the lake. We may have to try those next time! We enjoyed our stay very much."
