"Service at breakfast was hit and miss"

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants and sights. Great service from the staff! They leave hot chocolate, sparkling/ still water and cookies in the room and replace each day if they are taken/used. We arrived by coach bus and it was a 5 min walk from Gloucester Green bus station. Highly recommend!"

"I booked a standard room for our daughter for her wedding night. The hotel very kindly upgraded them to a suite and provided an array of pastries and delights for them upon their late arrival. I cannot thank them enough for rounding off their very special day, A very special hotel and staff."

Our receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Although he is there part-time, he lives next door and is available by phone or...
