Was a great stay our family enjoyed the use of the free water toys such as paddle boats paddleboards....the dock for swimming in the river...the patio soace and firepit was great...and watching the wildlife on the river daily. Was close to beaches ect.

The rooms are simple and very clean. We had a ground floor room facing the river. Outstanding! Lovely seating areas to watch the wildlife on the river. We saw a beaver, muskrat, mallards, wood ducks, blue jays, geese, crows,etc. A short drive into town for food or to the beach (gorgeous). The room had a shower/bathtub combo, DVD player, live TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a kettle. Free wifi. We would definitely book again!

The outdoors and the view were incredible, we loved it watching the ducks and birds. Bbq was great outdoor seating was amazing. The room was as comfortable bed was clean, the bathroom could do with an upgrade!

Beautiful River front Room

Super easy check in and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the river. We spent a lot of time relaxing and watching the geese, swans and even an otter in the river. Great place highly recommend!

Delightful spot

We appreciated the locale, on the shore of a river filled with wildlife. We saw mink, beaver, various water birds, an eagle, and so on. The room was clean but a bit challenging for us, with one step up to the sink, another to the toilet. The tub has no grab-bars, the "Betty Crocker" drip coffee pot was hard to manage. Given the modest cost, we would certainly recommend it to other visitors.

What an enjoyable stay!

This place needs some love: more comfortable bed, night stand where it should be, extra countertop, etc. Despite these we’ll definitely return for many amazing reasons but will be more logistically prepared! Thanks to Charlene and family for the warm hospitality!
