"Lovely hotel in a great location. It's located in the heart of Cologne with a nice square right outside the door which is great for food/drinks. Also, just a few minutes walk from the train station. Rooms were nice, although a little small. There was air-con for heating, although we weren't able to adjust the temperature, so the choices were air-con on or off! Would have been nice to be able to turn it down, as it was quite hot at night. Leaving the window open wasn't always as option as street...

"Good location and very clean. I disliked the frosted glass bathroom wall/door. It reduces privacy for the user, reduces noise insulation from the bathroom and reduces the light insulation too so it disturbs the other person still in the bedroom. It doesn’t make sense, especially in a twin room. "

"Nice modern room. Air-con didn’t work so did get a little hot, but windows open so not too bad. The service was lacking. Check-in and out was great unfortunately bar experience was shocking. Two female staff didn’t want to serve as their shift finished in 10 minutes and told colleague through back and will be out soon. They were not doing anything they just didn’t want to do work. "

Originally given a double room when a twin was booked, told by staff I hadn't booked a double (when I had), though it was dealt with it was made to feel like a massive inconvenience for the member or staff. Couple or bits in the morning room not great, toilet flushing button hanging off wall, needs touching up in places. "

"The hotel is so well located and the view we had from our room was stunning. The room had been recently refurbished, we only had an issue with the rubber beneath the shower door wouldnt attach, someone tried but with no success, so the bathroom was at slight risk of flooding. Also, due to construction work they weren't serving breakfast, which we were only made aware of when checking in. They did provide some small pastries and coffee in the morning, but these came with no plate, so ended up...
