"My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high. Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food! The property used to be solely a restaurant, but post-pandemic, Dominic and his brother decided to turn the third generation...

"We needed a room for one night. Our room was tiny with little room for our suitcase. No hangers. The pictures online show a lovely old house but not the cracked taped window or lack of curtains on the window. A bit too rustic for our taste. The host was friendly. Bed was comfortable."
