"Piece Hostel Sanjo blew away my expectations to say the least. The beds are clean and comfortable, the common area is a great place to relax and meet people, and the facilities (both east and west) are aesthetic with lots of accommodation. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and don’t shy away from helping travellers. Would highly recommend."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds were actually quite large and very comfortable. And the aesthetic of the overall property was so incredibly cool! It is also very conveniently near a lot of major things to see without being too close where a bunch of tourists are around! Right next to a bus station that can take you about anywhere too! Staff were so nice and accommodating! Would definitely recommend staying here! "

"一階奥の庭付きの部屋をご用意していただけました。四畳半の部屋は私にちょうどよく、クーラーもついており、トイレとシャワーも近くて快適でした。 布団はセルフで敷くのですが、いつもベッドなので畳の上の布団に新鮮さを楽しめました。 チェックイン後の出入りは自由で、夜間はロックを暗証番号入力で出入り出来ます。 冷蔵庫はロビーの共用を利用しました。 猫のタマくんもタイミングが合えばお出迎えしてくれます。 シティホテルもよいですが、京都街中の畳の部屋もまた格別でした。 また来ようと思います。"

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel.
