Great resort but fell short on a couple of levels.
The first was we had requested both online and talking directly to the front desk that we had hoped for an early check in. It didn’t work out which I totally understand, but it wound up that not only were we unable to get an early check in, we were held up past our 4pm check in time. Not ideal after a long day of travel. Second was the fact that there was literally an infestation of some kind of black beetle. They were everywhere and at times dropping off the ceiling onto our beds. At first we saw one or two, and I checked them against bed bugs or ticks and thankfully they didn’t match, but by the last day of our 3 day stay they were everywhere. We had 4 other families/friends that were staying there and they reported the same thing. Outside of those two issues, the property and staff were exemplary
