"We had an overnight stay on our way to Calais returning home. The city was having a celebration of its annual day - Haarlem Day - and we wondered whether the hotel's restaurant would be closed. It wasn't, luckily. The food was nicely cooked but the menu was very limited, the staples you would see on a UK pub menu. This contrasted to Holiday Inn Lubeck. Parking worked well and hotel is fairly close to town centre. I may be damning with feint praise but that is not my intention. I would happily break a long journey again by staying there."
