"Family with one teenager, from the UK. We were super impressed with this hotel. We don't speak Hungarian, but we were made so welcome, particularly by the reception staff, who responded to requests for kettles, an iron, and numerous other things. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of sunbeds and the variety of food at breakfast and dinner. It was such a relaxing stay â we absolutely loved it!"

"Room was clean and the property grounds were maintained. Our balcony had too many cobwebs to feel comfortable sitting there. The staff was nice. Especially helpful was one of the front desk staff in arranging a driver for us. Unfortunately, I didnât see a name tag."

"I had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel Annabella in BalatonfĂŒred. The location is absolutely beautifulâright on the lakefront and along the promenade, with easy access to shops, cafĂ©s, and restaurants. It truly doesnât get better than this setting. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay especially enjoyable. The pools and saunas were fantastic, and having access to a private beach was a real highlight. The food was amazing at the hotel restaurant! What stood out most was the exceptional service. A special thank you to the staff and manager, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with arranging an early check-in. Their kindness and professionalism made a great stay even better. I will gladly return with my family and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting BalatonfĂŒred."

"A great place to stay. Nothing super fancy, but just what you need for a decent price. I know that most hotels do it, but I think asking money for parking is kind of ridiculous. Should be included in the price of the stay. We were able to park just outside the property for free so it was ok. Staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfasts were great, very tasty and lots to choose from. Weâll stay in Margareta again when weâll come back to BalatonfĂŒred."

"Both breakfast and dinner had a good variety. The dining area was clean and so was the room assigned to us. There was a tiny bit of pressure to purchase drinks at dinner time. There was maintenance ongoing with the steam room and one of the saunas but this was not informed at all on the booking page. Likewise the beach which belongs to the hotel was also unavailable and again not mentioned on the booking page. These information should have been made available on the booking page and also not mentioned by staff until I specifically requested information. Whatâs with the secrecy? I find such behaviour unacceptable and short of rude. If such facilities are unavailable then I expected a discount on the room rates."
