Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city, Nepal. For Tibetans and followers of Tibetan Buddhism, it is second only to Boudhanath. I was lucky enough to visit Nepal, see it and take some pictures a week before the 2015 earthquake. The temple complex suffered damage in the Nepal earthquake. :-(
