"We stayed two nights at Etosha village.
The cabin is clean and spacious with good beds and a well-stocked bathroom. The shower is of good quality.
All the cabins are spread out a few minutes walking distance from the main reception/restaurant/pool area. Our cabin was the most distant. The signage indicating how to get to the cabins from the main area could be improved. It is easy to get lost, especially at night.
The property felt safe, although we did encounter a poisonous snake near our cabin at night.
The staff are generally quite helpful. Breakfast and supper were included in our package and the service was good.
However, the management did refuse to allow our tour operator to enter their grounds to pick us up for our game drive, which was an inconvenience.
The food is nothing special but fairly filling. The pool is a nice feature, especially on a hot afternoon after a game drive.
The location is excellent, only a 5 minute drive to Anderson gate, allowing you to be one of the first to enter the park in the morning at sunrise.
The lodge is mostly booked by German tourists, as with many other places in the country, although all the staff speak English well."
