Had a 2-week stay in 2 room types (King bed and Twin)
- Soundproofing for exterior noises could be improved. We were on the 11th floor and could still hear very loud street noises by cars. In comparison, it was much quieter when our room was not facing the main street on the 4th floor.
- Not the best if you are working from the hotel. The desk's charging power point is not made to fit well with international adaptors. The public area for "working" is only available from 12-10pm.
- Housekeeping's scope is quite basic, but they're happy to accede to your requests - if you are still in the room when they come by.
- Frontdesk is not the friendliest and not all of them speak English, but gets the job done if you ask.
- Comfort: not the best for sleep as there is no AC available (yes still important in winter) because the blanket/bedsheet traps heat and you end up waking up often in the middle of the night sweating - even with the heater turned off.
- Having said the above, I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay (not for business or work purpose). The location is good and within a 10-min walking radius, I had the best sushi, soba and sukiyaki/shabu ever.
