"Hotel Duomo is perfectly located for exploring Orvieto. The hotel is stylishly decorated and room 204 was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and tasty. The sour cherry tart was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly especially Pietro who helped secure us a taxi after midnight as we missed our train at Rome. Riccardo too was very friendly. Pleased we chose Orvieto and Hotel Duomo."

"The host is incredibly lovely, helpful & hard-working. The property is wonderful with great views & outdoor area to enjoy breakfast & relax after a long day sightseeing. The breakfast provided was extensive and delicious. The shower was great & was always hot. The bed was so so comfortable, not rock hard like other beds I have experienced in Italy. It’s outside the city walls but only a 10 minute walk uphill or downhill to & from Porta Maggiore or a couple more around to the escalator & lift up into the city. The C bus from the funicular stops at Porta Maggiore too. I was travelling solo with heavy luggage, was a little bit difficult for me, but if you’re fit or have a car no problem. Taxi is possible but very expensive so I didn’t use it but the host was very helpful to me. The other staff were very lovely also. In my view it was excellent value."

"Erica was a lovely host, very proud of the property and its stunning views. She was very accommodating, offering to cook dinners for us if we didn't want to drive the 20 minutes into Orvieto. Highly recommend enjoying her cooking and the wonderful evening light at the property, and avoiding driving the narrow, winding back roads at night."

"We really enjoyed Hotel Corso, the location was perfect and we walked all over the city. Ruben at the front desk was awesome! He helped us with everything we needed and recommended some wonderful restaurants in the area over our trip, in particular, Osteria Del Teatro! We had a fabulous meal, one of the best on our 2-week trip throughout Italy! The hotel restaurant was also fantastic - Chris, the GM is a great guy and really knows his wines! The room was great and we had a view of the harbor and beyond. Highly recommend!"
