"There was a pub/restaurant on-site, very convenient. It's small though, so don't forget to book ahead for dinner! Food was good. It's right across the street from the ferry, so no problem with transport. I liked it."

"Perfect place to stay in the quiet and laid back village of Dounby as it is close to a lot of archeological sites which are about 10 to 20 minutes away in every direction. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food as well. Spacious parking in the back. There is a gas station and a market across the street so you donโt have to worry about driving too far to refuel and get food. This place will be my go-to the next time I travel to Orkney Islands!"

"We loved the tour of the facility and our room. Help with parking was so useful for ease of getting out of the lot. My wife needed medicine kept cold and ice packs frozen and had no issues having this done for us. Because we were leaving before breakfast a to go meal was provided for us."

"The hotel has clearly just been refurbished and the entrance area was very nice indeed. I was later checking in and had to wait a wee bit until helped by a member of staff - wasnโt a huge issue for me though. The room itself was lovely - spotless and stylish. Didnโt have breakfast as I was leaving early."
