"We were given a free “upgrade” to our room, and it was the smallest room I have ever stayed at. It was difficult with two people and we kept bumping into furniture. Very very small space with very little amenities. We had stayed here before in the past, but this was by far one of the worst stays we have had in Portland."

"Eastside Lodge gets a solid 2 stars from me… one for the price, and one for the unexpected “nightlife immersion experience.” 😅 Let’s start with the good: the price was actually pretty great. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to crash, this checks that box without blinking. Now… about that “crash.” You might not be doing much sleeping. The club in the parking lot basically turns the whole place into a front-row seat for a concert you didn’t buy tickets to. Bass thumping, people coming and going, and parking? Let’s just say it felt more like a competitive sport than a guaranteed amenity. Inside the room, we tried to wind down with some TV… but the TV had other plans and simply didn’t work. At that point, we just accepted that the universe wanted us to fully commit to the live entertainment outside. All in all, if you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind a little chaos, Eastside Lodge might be your scene. If you’re hoping for quiet, parking, and a working TV… you may want to keep scrolling."
