Special place for final night of holiday

We had been on a long driving holiday and booked here for the final night. It was really superb with historic character, luxury and with a lovely breakfast included. We had a nice gin and tonic by the fire in their guest lounge. Considering breakfast was included it wasn't much more expensive than many other places we stayed and was much more comfortable. Strongly recommended.

Lovely boutique hotel with nice common areas to sit in front of the fire with a wine. Spire room includes bathroom with no door which we did not love however overall room is comfortable, clean, cosy, beautifully styled - including a pot of tea left on our bed in the evening! Excellent breakfast in the dining room in the morning. Convenient parking. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

I loved everything about this property. The hosts Kristen and Thomas have done a fantastic job in creating this new hotel. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is included and was a great start to the day. The common areas are not just to walk through but places to sit and relax with comfortable sofas and warm fires. The attention to detail throughout the hotel and the wonderful little extras such as the nighttime herbal tea made this hotel a very special place to stay..

Hi, we loved the place and were lucky to find it a sour car had broken down. Only problem was the bathroom which did not seem to be heated with an a/c vent when door closed.

Lovely room, staff, friendly service will definitely come back. Only annoyance glowing light switches and the blinking smoke alarm during the night in the room but all hotels /motels have those alarms annoyingly. Take an eye mask
