The hotel advertises the hotel has air conditioning. Apparently, this is only true, if the operators of the hotel deem it to be hot outside. It doesn’t matter that the hotel room is like an oven. The woman who seemed to be in charge, stated categorically that ALL hotels in France turn off the air conditioning sometime in October. She admitted the rooms were hot and stuffy. Her solution was to “open the window”. The hotel has double glazing to shut out the noise from the A7/A9 motorways and for temperature control. There are no insect screens on the windows, so the room fills with bugs and flies, when the window is open. On a ground floor room, sleeping with the window open is a security issue. What is the point of double glazing if the hotel policy is “open the window”. When my wife went back to show the receptionist the hotel had air conditioning advertised, he again called the woman who said “She’s a crazy woman”, grinning to him as she came in. The woman/manager, offered to move us to a first floor room, admitting it was a security risk to have the window open. Moving was not solution as far as we were concerned, the issue of noise and bugs remained, if sleeping with a window open. She later apologised for calling my wife mad but was emphatic that ALL hotels in France were the same. She offered to cancel our booking and refund our money. We did not see this as a solution as we would have to waste time in and booking another hotel at late notice. Wifi terrible

Ideal for a quick pit stop
Very handy for the auto route. Nice pool and terrace area, and the bar restaurant had a good varied selection. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Good location by the road
The location is good if you are travelling south and need a place to stop by for the evening. The hotel itself is a classical Ibis.

One of our favourites.
We like this hotel very much, have stayed here several times. Walking distance to the city. Convenient distance from motorway when travelling. Restaurant very good, breakfast good. Our room was quiet, beds comfortable. We will stay here again.

Difficult times of COVID, but i have been multiple times here and i am always happy, unfortunately no food this time due to COVID restrictions. I asked for a cradle which was kind of broken. Very friendly, save and a nice place to stay very close to the motorway.

Average hotel.
The hotel was ok for an overnight stop. No choice on the menu for veggies its time to come into the modern world. Breakfast was probably not as good as other Ibis hotels we have used. No pain choc. Or Danish pastries.It was not worth. 10.50euros. Needs a small lounge near the bar rather than two dining areas. Bedroom too small to relax in. Otherwise clean and friendly.

Good location, easy access to the freeways and town center. The rooms are small but practical, very clean, offering quick wifi, A/C, comfortable bed, desk, good shower. Spacious parking lot always has a place for your car. Adjacent restaurant.

Great stop over hotel
Stayed for one night on our way down to the coast. Check-in was quick, room was basic but clean and bed very comfy! Restaurant served food until 11pm. Our original room stank of smoke but they quickly switched our rooms. Orange is a lovely little town to have a wander and look at the roman history.

Orange you glad I stayed at Ibis Orange, France...
John at the front desk did an excellent job checking us in quickly and overall was very accommodating. The restaurant menu was in 4 languages so ordering was easy. The food was good and the beer was cold.

Orange overnight!!!
We made a stop while driving south.....the hotel is pretty close to the highway and walking distance to the city centre!!!! The staff speaks a very good English!!!! The rooms was Ibis standard like usual.....breakfast really good!!!! Warm and cold choises!!!! Would stay again!!!

Recommended basic hotel with pool and parking
Lovely hotel with good friendly service from hotel staff. The room was basic, but clean with comfortable bedding. Great if you have a car, want to have a little swim or easy access to the motorway. Short walk to city center.Would stay again definitely.

Excellent stopover
Hotel was within easy access to the peage. Room was clean, fresh and inviting with very comfy bed. Food in the hotel restaurant was good quality and good value. The town centre was also within easy walking distance. We will stay here again.

The name of the hotel suggest it is close to the centre of Orange, but it's actually quite a long walk from it and even further from the train station. There is only 1 coffee machine in the breakfast room, making the 'coffee queue' amazingly long.
