"We did the 2 night cruise and were glad we did, on the second day we transferred to a smaller boat with a smaller number of people (about 15) and spent the day in Ha Long Bay, we seemed to leave all the tourist behind and it was idyllic. "Great cruise option for Ha Long Bay! This one was on the pricier side when looking at options, but you definitely get what you pay for here! We saw some of the other cruise options from Expedia docked when we boarded and felt VERY relieved we had chosen Hermes. The staff were lovely and very accommodating! Overall Ha Long Bay is a tourist destination so keep expectations open, it’s definitely not like the incredible pictures in advertisements (trash everywhere!) "
