The guy who owns the property is a character, and he clearly loves the history of the house. However, the rooms are in disrepair—open electrical sockets! Stuff is everywhere. The place still needs a lot of work. It smells throughout the house of cigar or pipe smoke. The B&B itself could be amazing but it needs professional management!

Thank you for your comments - the wires in the socket are telephone wires perfectly safe. But will cover. Its a Georgian House so the amount and period & style of furniture and fittings are reflective of this. So maybe not a venue for the pure minimalists. The one smoking room is under review and containment measures are now set in place.

More Bed than Breakfast
Very clean and comfortable room in an interesting old house. No apparent possibility of breakfast, alas, but Bob & Bert’s on the High St in Omagh filled the gap admirably.

eccentric and authentic Georgian manor house
A truly eccentric and authentic Georgian manor house accommodation full to the brim with charming and interesting antiques. Not suitable for those seeking a hot Ulster Fry breakfast or modern luxuries. You cannot compare this wonderful place to a modern hotel - it is delightful and so is host Louis who is full of stories.
