Mangrove was the best part of our stay. Only thing i would change is the bed. My fiancee and i prefer softer matteesses. Otherwise it was perfect!

And I should’ve gave me a discount the room they had me in at two beds back in a corner by the swimming pool and it smelled like chlorine. Took a smaller room On 2 nd floor faces the Ocean. It was $ 25 cheaper per night. Receive no refund! Read me 20% discount on 3600 pesos for meals & drink. A $11 refund. And I’ve stayed there five times in the past!! Disappointed, but the waitresses are great!!

All in All the Mangrove hotel was the best thing about my trip to the Phillipines . Had some terrible experiences at other hotels . But the mangrove was excellent , clean and impeccable service from all staff

Nice place, easy walk to the main road. Nice views of the water . The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were a nice size and well kept. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Our room is big with beautiful seaview. The area is close to the mall, lots of eating places around. Inflatable island is also nearby.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Place is very clean. Food was good. There was no elevator so seniors and PWD's should be on the ground floor rooms. Also, beach was very small. However, we still had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Nice views, typical problems.
Usual Pinoy hotel issues, remotes that dont work, rock hard bed. AC wasnt blowing cold and the maintenance staff said I should move to Alaska if want cold. They charge for everything, no free breakfast like other hotels. Great views and location, thats about it.

Subic Bay Gem
Being use to western style service, and accommodations, this place was very good! I cannot complain about a single thing. Room was nice, and clean. Service was excellent. Food was great. Coming back soon.

This was my first time to Subic Bay and I enjoyed our stay, sitting out having cocktails while hearing the surf pound the shore. The weather was not perfect and I am sure on a sunny day, blue sea it would even be better -the staff were very amicable and the room service was almost as quick as to when you hung up the phone there was a knock at the door.

Nice hotel with great view of Subic Bay. Room was clean with nice furnishings. The only draw back on the room was the small air conditioner unit. The unit was much too small for the room space. The management obviously spent a great deal of money furnishing the rooms, they should have spent a few more pesos and installed a larger AC unit. Also, the hotel is pricey for the neighborhood. That being said, we enjoyed our time at the Mangrove Resort Hotel.
