"Quiet and very nice staff"

"The bathroom lighted mirror was not working and I made the staff aware. Otherwise, all was fine."

"When checking in we asked for a double queen. Went to the room and we only had a king. Went back to front desk, and they told me they didn’t have any rooms with two queens left. This was not ideal since there were three of us, so I had to sleep on the chair. Didn’t even get a few hours sleep because I was so uncomfortable. The door to our room was very difficult to close, making it feel like a fire hazard. No light bulb in the lamp which gave my husband a nice little shock. Front desk person said manager would try to do something to accommodate us, and that they’d be in by seven the next morning. Went to see manager in the morning and was told they wouldn’t be in until around ten. I explained I’d be leaving before then, and I was told they would have the manager call me after they got in. It’s been five days without any attempt to contact me. I’ve stayed here before, but will not return after this. "

"Excellent property in a perfect location to walk to most of the historic sites and local businesses. It is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food service is great. A wonderful stay. "

"The room was clean. The TV remote did not work, my husband got it to turn on but then at the end of the night he could not get it to turn off. he turned off the sound but the TV stayed on all night. I hate light in the room and I had to keep the blankets over my head. We told the front desk the next day and wrote a note to the room cleaner."

"We had numerous issues - no glasses or coffee mugs - only 1 robe (other was empty hanger) - requested maintenance twice - no show - dusty/dirty areas in room. Additionally, my request for a quiet room was acknowledged - and in the system - but disregarded. We were in a noisy room right off the road which was loud. I asked to be moved and was told it wasn't an option. He stated the request was there and he didn't know why it wasn't honored. Dinner service at Five Chophouse was slow and below standard - Breakfast however was great! When I explained everything to the front desk upon check out, there was no attempt at further resolution. We will not return - very disappointing stay."
