"We had two amazing stays at Docent 178 and Docent 121. Beautiful apartments situated in the heart of Old Port, Portland. You are in walking distance to some of the best food found in Maine. The staff were also incredibly helpful and one text message away. Maine in the summer is expensive, but if you are going to spend on hotels anyway, might as well do it with Docent!"

"The hotel was well located, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, the bathroom seemed to have a leak, as there were visible water stains on the ceiling.
The other downside was the parking. It wasn’t free, and there was no option for self-parking, so you had to use the hotel’s parking service.
Other than those issues, we had a pleasant stay and were happy with the overall experience."

"The ONLY issue we had was the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We called several times to be picked up. It never came. We ended up taking the public bus and walk several blocks to our hotel at the end of a very long travel day. Not ideal."

"The gym was great. The breakfast buffet was great (except it was supposed to be open until 10:30 and there was no omelet station open at 9am when I went). Overall the place could be beautiful but it was poorly maintained. The windows had prints all over them in our room and on the campus. The gym equipment was the same. A lot of the surfaces and doors looked dingy and unkept as well."
