"My first impression was that I made a very bad choice of hotel. Check-in process was fine and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful but the lobby was very hot. I was told later the AC in the common areas was out and had been for a long time. The room was great and the stay would have been a 5 star except for the aforementioned AC issue. The bar and restaurant were too hot to really sit and enjoy for any length of time. Again, the staff was great and attentive. "

"We stayed here for a couple of days. Great location. Just a few minutes away from Pike's Peak. Room was very spacious. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast. I only had a couple of issues. The shower curtain wouldn't stay closed which allowed then floor to get wet. And the filters on AC were dirty. My husband was able to clean them up and it was fine after that.
