I felt safe and here as a safe female traveler - I pretty much walked everywhere and the old city is very cool. I really liked the location of the entrance, which is off the main road so if you’re fumbling and trying to figure things out for entrance it’s very forgiving and provides some grace as a traveler that’s new to the area.
