"The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. The staff were very helpful during an unusual heavy rainfall event to make sure we were safe and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we are back in the area. Hot water beach and...

"Well maintained property, close to Tairua town. The one bedroom unit had all amenities needed for a 3 night stay. Owner is friendly and communicative. We also got to use the bikes for free and I believe t hey also let you use kayaks for free. "

The size of the room was good but the fridge was very noisy kerp us awake mosy of the night plus the head board was not fix the the bed or wall probably eveytime we move the head board keep moving/bang on thd wall.plus room wasn't sound proof for noise outside as it said on the website"

They couldn’t find our reservation and I showed the email confirmation. Food was average at best and overpriced. Steak was ordered medium rare was over cooked and greasy. Prawn curry was a very small portion, nothing special. Restaurant dining area wasn’t clean. "
