This is my 3rd time staying here. one of the only places you are on the beach and pool and restaurant truly great food and staff and if you want to be in the sun and be lazy this is the place

Fint hotell med dålig service

Bra hotell, nära standen. Rent och fräsht. Tyvärr så var inte servicen på topp. För det första så tog det lång tid att få hjälp vid poolområdet med frukost och drinkar. För det andra så var det bröllop första dagen, vilket gjorde att man inte fick använda poolen. Jag hade hyrt en solstol nere vid havet och fick flytta mig pga bröllopet. När jag skulle gå in till hotellet igen, fick jag inte gå in det vanliga hållet utan runt hela byggnaden utan att personalen ens informerade mig om detta. När vi skulle checka ut, så sa personalen att det saknades en handduk i rummet och jag blev tvungen att gå tillbaka till rummet för att visa var handduken låg, de letade inte ens igenom rummet innan de anklagade oss för att ha tagit en handduk.

The worst ever experience I had in my life... Do not let the fact, that this hotel located right on a beach, fool you - you will not enjoy it. All rooms do not have a view of anything but backyard with trash ... Take in consideration that management doesn’t fully understand what is a smoking free - I don’t smoke and I smell it all over inside my room and corridors . I was afraid my bed will fall apart- shaking every move I had to make. First ( and the last) free breakfast I had in the place called “restaurant” with ceiling coved with bed sheets was an hour wait. A Sheetrock falls from ceiling and those bedsheets are preventing it from falling into your dish . The line of rooms has the same wall with scene of the music band , so you will not enjoy a goodnight sleep, as well as a pool and a beach, because this hotel rents its promises for outside celebrations like weddings and birthdays. And you can’t dine there because of those party’s... I tried all four days I had to be there... Wallpaper in my room was separated from the wall in several spots , all bedding smelled old and disgusting . I wanted to look for another hotel but I was on a business trip and had no time ... Be prepared to pay for your guests if you expect them to come to your room as you would pay for another person checking in . The beach is dirty and be aware of broken glass from bottles People don’t speak English, but seems like everyone is a manager, but none is responsible for anything . No hot water

Some of resturant waiters were rude, not willing to do their job, apparently they do their job if you tip them otherwise you won't get any service, things were taken from mini bar and I was charge for it, very nice and friendly reception staff and manager at the hotel, very poor information and communications overall, good quality food at the hotel resturant

Great location but recently poorly maintained.

It seems like the hotel has not been well maintained over the past year or so. The quality has dropped since my prior visit. Electrical issues, foul smelling water with strong sulfur smell from the shower, blinds/blackout shades broken allowing direct sun into the room at dawn, towel hooks missing, shakey floor boards on steps/boardwalk. Also be careful with your bill when you check out. They try and get you for everything. All that said... They still have a great location and rooms right on the beach. Overall the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. (Or at least they pretend to be.)

Exceptionally friendly service. No language barrier. All staff spoke English. Staff were courteous, kind and most eager to go the extra mile to ensure guests were happy and content. I highly recommend this location to anyone who visits Odessa.

Very nice hotel directly on the beach. Beautiful views from our room. Bathroom was nice and bed was comfy. Right in the heart of all the clubs perfect if you want to party otherwise very loud all night long music pumps past 4/5am. Very few of the staff spoke any English.

Будьте внимательны при выборе отеля! Отель производит приятное впечатление, номера европейского уровня, наш был с видом на море и бассейн. Есть все необходимое, а главное, близко море. Все было замечательно, но ночью мы не смогли уснуть из-за громкой музыки. Рядом расположены ночные танцевальные заведения и стрип клуб. Несмотря на будний день, музыка не прекращалась даже в 5 и в 9 утра. Официанты не очень приветливые, а завтрак не очень вкусный.

Great Beach Hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect during the warm weather. Small but well maintained beach. Nice pool area. The rooms were comfortable with all standard amenities. Ask for a Sea View Room with a balcony. I did not have one but would request one on the next visit. What sets this hotel apart is service. The front desk team of Nadia, Tamara, Alina and Olga were fantastic. On two days’ notice they arranged tickets and transportation for the UEFA Champions League Final in Kiev and constantly checked to make sure all was in order. They also did the same on two days’ notice for transportation and an interpreter to a small village 7 hours from Odessa. From start to finish they get 5 stars. Housekeeping was very attentive. Pool service (through Miss Svetlana) was outstanding - a very professional, courteous and hardworking lady - assisted by a very good team. I do not speak any Russian or Ukrainian – but that was not an issue at the hotel – other than I wish I could have expressed my gratitude in the local language. For a fun beach hotel in easy walking distance of a lot of mid-level restaurants and the clubs (for the young - which I am not) – the Portofino is a great choice.

It was ok, but I'll look at different places.

The bed is hard as a rock. It is near the beach and they do advertise it is a private beach, but it is incredibly small and crowded. There are also several night clubs nearby, and they do not stop playing music until about 4:00 am. The Wi-Fi is terrible, so be prepared.
