"We enjoyed the location on the edge ofd the Old Town area and directly across from the old bridge. Heidelberg's Old Town has a myriad of restaurants and the options are plentiful. We enjoyed a delightful meal at an old brewery that was within easy walking distance of the hotel. Also, we arrived at the Central bahnhof and were able to easily take a bus to and from the station. The Hotel had sizable rooms and although the noise from late night revelers could have detracted, they were not late...

When we tried to check in, we were told we were a little early, but if we paid 20 Euro extra we could check in. Most every hotel we stay at has a check in time, but will not...

"Very accomodating staff. I was planning to arrive after check-in and they have a very well organized system to get your keys and to you. The rooms are small, at least the one I was in, but very comfortable and clean and very well equipped and thought out. It is peacful and queit and conviniently close to the train station with a short walk. Breakfast is great and served at a good time.
