Great breakfast and hot water in the showers! Quite a few bathroom things were in need of maintenance - toiet seats, light bulbs, stall latches, and faucets. The sheets were clean and the location was convenient to the Fishermans Way/ Rota Vincentina trail.

Rooms only have 4 beds in it but the bunk beds are very shaky/squeaky. Some beds do not have an individual light and the power outlets were all the way across the room (and not near the beds). There is only 1 key per room which is challenging when one of the roommates forgets to leave the key at the hostel for the others to get back in. The breakfast buffet is nice.

Place is a bare bones hostel. We had a room with private bath that was not in great shape. Also floor by door was buckled slightly and caused door to stick. A community kitchen was available and a continental breakfast was included. While it was relatively inexpensive, we stayed in better for only slightly more.Location was good and staff were nice.
