"The room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet area with only a 10 minute drive to the area. The pool was really nice. We stayed for a week and the card in the room said we would get room service halfway through our stay if we wanted it. We put the card out to service the room but they didn’t do it. "We Love the Seahorse Cottage!! This was our second visit to OBX and our second stay here. We had the same cottage as last year and it was great! It has everything you need and is very comfortable. "Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!"

"We enjoyed our recent stay! The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Big balcony. Convenient free parking. Onsite restaurant was great. Decor, furniture and finishes were outdated if your into those kinds of things being modern. Balcony door in our room didn’t lock, so if you have small children that is not ideal (may have just been our room). Air conditioning was not cooling as much as we would have liked, but we are used to it being 68 at home and this one would cool to 74-72 with it...

"Es war bereits unser dritter Aufenthalt im John Yanceys. Wir waren zu jederzeit sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war wieder sehr schön, wie beschrieben und auch sehr sauber. Wir nehmen housekeeping eher seltener in Anspruch, konnten aber zu jederzeit Handtücher austauschen und neuen Kaffee erhalten. "My adult son and I just finished a motorcycle trip to OBX. We picked Dolphin Inn because we wanted an old school motel experience, with easy access, and beach front. All at a good value.
