"A grand experience all around"

"Gorgeous hotel in a very cool neighbourhood -you can catch a super cheap tram to get into the CBD. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable (Max in Bar Julius was a standout sweetheart). The room was modern, clean and specious with a gorgeous shower. There are some great restaurants in the local area (Regina & NOUR were both lovely). It was a bit of a pain having to go to a gym down the road but that was the only negative! "

"My room was spacious- as was the great and comfortable bed - it was well fitted out, maintained and very clean. All the staff on every interaction were helpful and effective. The hotel is sufficiently away from the centre for quietness. But sufficiently close to enable easy walking access. Public transport is close by, but as a walker/explorer I did t use it much"

"Booked late after a last minute change of work plans, and found this within budget. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Room on 6th Floor (an upgrade) was great. Spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed and - the standout - very nice effective black blinds. Slept perfectly. Gym was good, but busier than other cdb hotels I use regularly. Pool nice, sauna was out of order. Got a couple of drinks vouchers through hotels.com Silver status and was able to use the m in the Brewery next door. Massive...
