Bedingt durch die Mitnahme eines kleinen Hundes, kamen wir in den Altbau. Ein Gerüst stand vor dem Erker u. behinderte die Aussicht. Die Einrichtung war mangelhaft, geschmacklos. Das Bad war sehr klein, kein Außenfenster u. Feuchtigkeit an der Decke (großer Feuchtigkeitsfleck). Preis/Leistung stimmte hier absolut nicht, wir waren insg. enttäuscht vom Zimmer.

Hübsches Hotel ,zentrale Lage

Hotel liegt Zentral als Ausgangspunkt für alle Wanderungen in die Umgebung. Das Wetter war fast zu Warm zum wandern. Einige Lokalitäten auf den Wanderstrecken waren leider geschlossen. Auch die Skiehalle war leider nicht zugänglich.Sonst war alles super.Die Gasthäuser im Ort waren sehr einladent und hatten ein sehr gutes Speisenangebot.

Leider wurde unser schöner Wanderurlaub durch mangelhaftes Room cleaning getrübt. Zwei Tage hintereinander wurde unser Zimmer erst nach Aufforderung an der Rezeption gereinigt und neue Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Entschuldigung des Hotels: Die Reinigung wird durch eine Fremdfirma durchgeführt !?

Gutes Hotel, schöne Zimmer, etwas zu teuer

Gutes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Der Empfangsbereich wirkte unordentlich. In dieser Preisklasse (140,-/Nacht für DZ) muss der Empfangsbereich perfekt sein. Im Pool- und Saunabereich haben wir keine Umkleidekabinen gefunden und es wirkte etwas lieblos. Wenn es sie gibt, dann gut versteckt. Insgesamt aber ein ordentliches Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut.

Inmitten grüner Wälder, ....

liegt das Schlossberghotel Oberhof. Wir waren hier auf der Durchreise weil wir die Region Oberhof noch nicht kannten. Es war quasi ein "Blind". Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und komfortabel. Die Einrichtung wurde teilweise erneuert. Das Frühstück könnte etwas variationsreicher sein, es war ansonsten alles vorhanden ("Marmelade aus dem "Spender". Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man bekommt einen Oberhofpass, der auch für die Therme gilt, die direkt gegenüber dem Hotel liegt. Einen Rotkäppchenpiccolo gab es zum Abschied, eine nette Aufmerksamkeit.

Ein Oberhof-Trpp, den man nicht machen muß.

Es sollte ein einfacher Erholungsurlaub sein. Das äußere Erscheinungsbild des Hotels ist ok. Das Zimmer, welches wir hatten, war sehr klein. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist dürftig. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, es wurde aber beim einchecken angeboten, daß wir im Hotel auch zu Abend essen können. Hier kam es dann zu einem Mißverständnis, das in einer unschönen Diskussion endete. Auf der sehr kleinen Karte waren keine Preise hinter den Speisen. Am ersten Abdend aßen wir zwei Hauptgerichte, die sehr gut waren. Die Preise waren auch ok. Am zweiten Abend wollten wir nur eine Vorspeise und ein Hauptgericht. Die Kellnerin erklärte darauf, daß wir dann aber auch zwei mal den kompletten Menue-Preis zahlen müßten. Nach einer kurzen aber heftigen Diskussion klärte eine zweite Kellnerin diesen Streit und wir bezahlten nur das, was wir gegessen haben, das wieder sehr wohlschmeckend war.

Nettes Hotel im Thüringer Wald

Das Hotel ist ein kleines gemütliches Familien-Geführtes Hotel. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und professionell aufgestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Zimmer in dem wir gewohnt haben war die 24 m² Ausführung. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Wegen besseren Schlafes sollte man die an der Rezeption angebotene weiche Unterlage unbedingt nehmen. Das Bad wurde voll modernisiert und ist auf dem neusten Stand. Lediglich die Badtür wurde leider auf der falschen Seite eingebaut und klapperte beim schließen. Die Inhaber gelobten Nachbesserung. Auf Anfrage gab es leider weder einen Preisnachlass noch einen Gutschein für den nächsten Aufenthalt. Das hätte das Wiederkehren etwas erleichtert....
