"Staff service was excellent. Good was amazing. Some noise at night due to creeky floorboards above. Room was lovely with nice touches eg water and biscuits."
"An excellent 'bar pension', centrally located easy walking distance from the rail station and ferry terminal. The rooms are very stylishly decorated but compact, so good for a short stay. The ensuite was cleverly designed to fit hand basin, shower and toilet into a small space. Bed comfortable and nice towels and herbal hand / shower wash. TV working with UK free to air channels. Good Wi-fi and tea kettle and china mugs. Good food in the whisky bar and live music too on the night I was there, though I'd suggest they switch off some of the harsh halogen lights to create a cosier ambience and encourage you to linger longer! The room window was also locked and I suggest the owner unlocks them so that guests can ventilate with the fresh West Highland air if they wish... No socket in ensuite. Officially nowhere to store luggage after the early checkout time but staff let me leave a suitcase in the bar and keep the outside key until midday, which was welcome. Recommended"
"Hotel very clean room spacious and comfortable, bed a bit soft however personal opinion and still slept well, robe, slippers in room, tea and coffee making facilities with assorted teas and biscuits and complimentary bottled water. didn’t have breakfast but had evening meal, it was delicious and price very reasonable, location of hotel could not be better, harbour and train station across the road. Complimentary 30 minute steam and sauna, with two heated loungers, foot spa was not working but made use of the others, we indulged in massage and afternoon tea for two, ultimate in luxury massage tailored to our needs and afternoon tea takes account of dietary requirements, we were left to enjoy the afternoon with no rush in the comfortable lounge. The staff were really friendly with Summer and Hayden given special mention."
"We had a lovely stay in this quirky hotel with fabulous decor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. Will definitely return"
"Nice, spacious room. Breakfast was awesome and we were even provided a well stocked grab bag when we had an early tour. No elevator which was the only downside as we were on the top floor. Location is great and the staff were exceptional."
"Room was good but could have done with some place to hang wet coats and a safe preferably big enough for a laptop.
Staff were pleasant and helpful
Breakfast was plentiful, hot and tasty. Personally I would have preferred either bigger cups or a teapot but that’s my personal preference.
Parking was limited. We parked in front of the hotel but didn’t use our car for the whole time we were there, so don’t know if there was any other parking places available.
Altogether a nice place with excellent views over the bay."
