Lovely setting. Didnt have time to use pool,but was really clean. The staff were really helpful (as everyone seems to be in Myanmar). Ordered transport and gave info .good choice of breakfast. Room was spacious and fresh water put in each day,so no problems for drinks. Would definitely recommend

Highly recommended
Lovely cozy room with wooden floor. A compact and pleasant environment around the rooms. Very conveniently located near the main restaurants of Nyaung-U and right next to a scooter hiring shop. 'Scooting' around Bagan is one of the most pleasant and inspiring experiences you could hope for, especially as you leave the crowds and meander around alone with nothing but the sound of birds and farmers herding their goats. A truly beautiful, magical place that shouldn't be missed.

Hotels.com got this location correct
Clean and good location for Nyaung-U, with friendly staff. I ended up staying here last minute after booking a room hotels.com incorrectly said was in this town, but in reality was 7+ miles away in a different town. I was able to cancel only 2 of the 3 nights at the inaccurately described hotel. Still waiting for Hotels.com to respond to my messages about that problem.

The pool was a nice touch and welcmed in the heat of Bagan. Breakfast was either fried noodles or omlette with toast. Fresh fruit served with coffee as well. Nice Hotel.

Nice and cozy, Great to relax
Nice and cozy hotel close to restaurants. Great place to relax after visiting the temples. The Oasis hotel is a nice small hotel. Rooms are simple and clean. Staff are very nice and always ready to help. The swimming pool and the garden make you feel in a little oasis in the middle of the village. They have a good breakfast. You can also rent e-bikes in the hotel itself.

Nice setting and comfortable accomodation
Decent accommodation with comfortable bed, walk-in rain shower, nice gardens. Staff were friendly and the e-bikes that the hotel hires out were newer and better quality than some of those available elsewhere. On the downside, room was a bit dark, over the two night stay the room was not serviced, and breakfast was “meh”. Would not recommend the “new deluxe” rooms by the pool unless you like people hanging out right outside your door from early morning until evening. The “deluxe” rooms might be a better choice. Easy walk to the “restaurant street”.

we had great 3 nights at Oasis. clean room, warm welcoming, nice breakfast (but improvment possible in the speed of the eggs!). good situated between airport/bus station and old bagan. e-bike at the hotel and nearby. walking distance to restaurant street.

Good but disappointing
We booked for 4 nights but only stayed 3. The Hotel is well located approx 10 minutes walk from restaurant street, staff were friendly and helpful with the room clean and comfortable. However there are some issues that were not satisfactory 1) room had no working shower for one day and a half. I know water pressure can be an issue but no water is not good 2) Room safe would not unlock on at least 6 occassions 3) The hotel had several blackouts with no electricity for some time, a problem sometimes in Asia but this was too often 4) Rowdy young guests from Yangon having a party for two nights until 2am and beyond and management seemed to be powerless to stop it or just didn't want to confront the situation 5) our room was flooded at midnight on the first night due to a heavy storm and blocked drains, unfortunate but did not get us off to a good start Would I stay there again, maybe but I would want to be assured of better control of late partying if it occurred

Peaceful experience
Hotel is ten minutes her walk from Western style restaurants with lots of choice. Local restaurants are also plentiful. Small grocery store two minutes away together with a choice of e-bike rentals. Great pool to cool off in after the temples.

Good location
Nice grounds, extremely friendly staff, nice size rooms. However bathrooms could use a remake. We were in room 7 first and asked to be moved to 4 which was by the pool. Third night we were moved back to 8. 8 was the best. Beautiful pool area, decent breakfasts.

Very good little oasis of green in otherwise quite dusty city road. It is walking distance to a good selection of good restaurants and can easily access the Bagan highlights by e-bike.

Pay twice
Wifi was really slow when and if it was working. They demanded I pay for the accommodation even though the whole amount had been paid on-line. Lucky I had printed the confirmation. If I had needed to see it on line with their connection I would have had a problem. The shower had almost no water, just a dribble. The bathroom was shabby. The superior double room was noisy banging doors etc. The staff did their best under the conditions.

Nice rooms and facilities.
Arrived early morning from Yangon and the staff was able to help me out get an e-bike for the sunrise... gave me map and helped pointed out the interesting temples... near the restaurant and bar streets... staff also advised my to try traditional Myanmar massage... it was the best!

A wonderful hotel near the restaurants of Nyaung U. The pool is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. It's 2 miles from Old Bagan, but the hotel will facilitate bike or motorbike rentals for the (easy) trip.

there's so much to.like about this, but i wouldnt stay here again. rooom design, fitout, comfy bed and good breakfast. but. but. but the shower never worked properly despite asking 4 times for them to fix or move or do something. its a hot place and in one of the more expensive hotels you need to get more than 3 minutes of hot water coming out with no pressure in a trickle.

very relaxing place to be
we were a group of 3 people that came to the hotel at 4am in the morning. The hotel staff was kind enough to let us check in early. The people at the desk were asleep in the office behind the desk and we had to wake them up. I felt bad, but they helped us anyways. The rest was greatly needed after a gruesome bus ride from Yangon. Overall, the staff was friendly and the place quiet, exactly what we needed.

dont pass up this hotel.
this hotel was a bargain. Very impressive for the price. hotel staff was helpful and friendly. room was spacious, clean, and more than i ever expected for the price. Hotel ground was an awesome 'bungalow' style with well kept swimming pool and wonderful landscaping. just a short drive to the temples and markets. And within walking distance to some great restaurants. I really enjoyed staying here and hope to return soon.

A nice break in the coolest place in Asia
We LOVED Bagan, and our stay at the Oasis hotel was a big part of that. It is a little outside of some of the more popular areas, but still walking distance from the road with all the restaurants. We got there on the bus from Yangon early and they held our bags in the front while we walk down the street to the girls at the shop with the e-bike rentals. We rented them for $8 for the day and then were off exploring temples until it got hot around 2. We came back and our rooms were ready, and they were clean and perfect, very comfortable, and the AC worked great. The breakfast next morning was good too and they helped us check on our shuttle to Mandalay before leaving the next day.

"Oasis" tells it all.
Arrived on an early morning flight and had to wait for our room but were offered breakfast and beverages etc. The dining area is set in a little garden with a pool area and the area is very green and relaxing. Our room was in the older/original building but was perfectly acceptable. Bed was very comfortable and the room of a good size. The shower and toilet were in a very small room and the tiles were rough slate (notorious to clean) and were a bit grubby but there was a big shower-head and plenty of hot water. It's location is quiet and away from the main tourist area but that's a bonus! Staff were helpful and could have arranged everything we needed, but we had already arranged a taxi driver to take us out touring for the day. We unwound and relaxed here after 4 days in Yangon. Loved it.

The hotel is quite far from Bagan, but this is not a problem as ebike outside the hotel can be haggled down to 6000Kyat for the day and this is easily the best way to get around the area. The Rooms are ok, the TV's don't work so if you want a night in, its old school entertainment as the restaurant/Bar is rarely open and overpriced when it is. The street with bars and food is less than a ten minute walk away. The pool is badly kept. The Staff are a bit clueless and just nod and smile when you ask them anything. Their exchange rate is not what it should be 1270 instead of 1300 to the dollar. It's just overpriced and a bit badly managed, a problem of that entire region.

Great little oasis in Bagan....
Stayed at the Oasis Bagan for 2 nights.... it's a haven after a full day's worth of dusty riding and temple hopping in Bagan. The toilet's drainage is not perfect... but there's hot water and most all stuff in the room works. Overall, Oasis Bagan is value stay at their price point.

Not Worth The Cost
Huge disappointment considering the price. It has the potential to be an "Oasis" place to stay due to its garden surroundings but definitely lacks in every other aspect. The rooms were generally clean but the structures themselves are in need of some repair. Small details like dingy very worn towels are not the mark of a higher priced hotel. The tap faucet was broken in the bathroom. I pointed it out to the clerk, but it was never fixed. The safe worked a little different than most hotels, but there were no instructions on its operation. Being a guy, I tried to figure it out but locked it without a code...ooopps. I had to get the desk clerk to explain the procedure, but a visible set of steps would have been better. The Wifi was slow which pretty well matched everywhere in Nyuang. Breakfast was sparse at best. Some coffee, toast, juice and fruit but no organized cooking. They did ask if I wanted scrambled eggs but took 15 minutes to make. I was only 1 of 3 people there. The tea they poured me was cold. They seemed surprised when I asked if they had any that was hot. When pouring rain, it is nice to have a fallback of some TV. However, only three of the channels they had listed on the room channel card were present. The rest, when working, were Indian TV running the same commercials in a loop. There was an error message on the 1st channel mentioning some issue with the system which I pointed out to the clerk. She said they would look into it but never resolved the p
