Great host and resourceful stay

We are very happy about our stay: the house is in a calm area but not too far from the main road ; Suresh has been a great host and very helpful to plan the rest of our trip. We asked for a typical local breakfast, which was very good and we enjoyed Suresh's explanations on the different dishes. Definitely recommended!

A charming and friendly place to stay!

Breeze of Paradise is the only place I stay at when visiting the Colombo area of Sri Lanka. It's a nice, quiet, safe and comfortable place. Kala & Suresh are lovely hosts and very welcoming and this too is another reason why I come back. I've stayed in other hotels in the past but they're nothing like this. Definitely give this place a look!

Offering good value and service

This hotel offers good facilities and value. Suresh was a very good host and made us feel at home. Other staff were also friendly. Tuk Tuks are freely available in the area and can connect you to just about any part of the city.

Stemningsfuldt og charmerende hus

Vi havde et godt ophold hos Souresh. Huset er stemningsfuldt, maden er lækker, frisk og hjemmelavet. Souresh og hans tante er søde og hjælpsomme. Vi nød terrassen på 1. sal, og der var en god og afslappet stemning i huset. Værelset var hyggeligt med velfungerende aircondition og wifi. Huset ligger for enden af en mindre vej der snor sig gennem et villakvarter. Der er hyggeligt og roligt. Ude på den store hovedvej er der mere kaotisk, men på en charmerende måde - og der er god mulighed for billig og lokal mad.

Amazing place with beatiful garden

I loved this place. It was a very nice building and the owner was very helpful. The room was spacious and the lounge area was very comfortable with international TV channels. Breakfast was made for me whenever I woke up and it was excellent local food with a lot of variety. It is away from the main road, so very quiet at night. The owner even helped me order pizza to get delivered for dinner a few times. If you want a beautiful place to stay that's not in a busy part of the city, this place is perfect. Many places to eat nearby and you can walk around safely at night as well. The owner was so helpful and helped me plan the rest of my trip across the country. He runs a very nice guesthouse and you will feel at home here. Highly recommended.
