This was a quick stay and the room served a purpose, no tea or coffee making facilities however there is a drinks and snack machine in the car park for treats if you need them. It’s not my usual kind of accommodation but I was with my some to drive the Nürburg Ring so we didn’t need anything fancy. It was clean and worked for what we needed.

It’s well placed in Nurburg. 10 min walking distance from Nordschleife and Devil’s Diner. Room is very basic but clean. Beds would gain to be upgraded with something more recent. Maybe some safe box would be nice too. Parking may be complicated specially when its a nice day at Tourist drive. A lot of people will park there to eat at the restaurant next to the hotel. Nurburg Castle entrance is literally in the parking lot of the hotel and its a nice activity.

This is a bare-bones property if all you need is a place to sleep for your visit to the ring. Just note that if you arrive after hours in the dark it might be hard to get a hold of somebody. All in all at the price that I paid it was worth it, no real complaints.

Rooms don’t have a toilet, the property is very old. There’s no staff or personnel at the reception. It’s very convenient to go to the track, but as far as cleanliness and amenities is very bad. Save yourself some money and pay a better hotel

Bei Ankunft (16:30 Uhr) war die Rezeption nicht besetzt, stattdessen lag der Zimmerschlüssel in einem Umschlag mit meinen Namen und der Zimmernummer drauf vor dem Fenster. Das Zimmer selbst war aber OK, einfach und sauber.

Ich bewerte hier nicht direkt das DF am Ring Nürburg sindern das "Schwester Hotel" in das wir aufgrund von fehlenden Warmwasser grachickt wurden. Das Green Corner. Wortwörtlich eine Absteige, Fensterrahmen aus Holz mit Einfachverglasung, Wind kommt durch die Steckdose, Teppich ist so alt, dass man unter dem Bett sieht das er mal Grau und nicht Braun war. Bad war auch nicht richtig sauber.

Katastrophe! 1 Bett, 1 Stuhl, 1 Lampe… das wars! Kein Fernseher, Durchlauferhitzer kaputt! Das Rollo am Fenster defekt, ich musste es mit einem Blumentopf festklemmen. Man konnte es auch nicht beheben da die Ansprechpartner kein deutsch konnten und nur über den Googleübersetzter „kommunizieren „ konnten. Selbst für das Geld zu teuer.

Beim Check Inn niemand da, 3 Zimmer habe ich gebucht, es lagen aber nur 2 Schlüssel zur Abholung bereit. Beim Telefonat nur in Englisch musste man diskutieren, damit die endlich jemanden geschickt haben, die einen Schlüssel für ein 3. Zimmer gebracht haben. Es war nur in einem Zimmer ein Fön vorhanden, in einem anderen Zimmer Schimmel im Bad. Für eine Nacht am Ring ging es, aber für einen Urlaub oder längeren Urlaub würde ich da nicht mehr buchen.

In der Buchungsbestätigung ist eine ungültige Tel.-Nr. angegeben. Eine Internetrecherche ergab, dass man eine niederländische Nummer wählen kann. Eine Mailanfrage zum Ablauf des Check-in blieb unbeantwortet. Der darauf erfolgte Anruf wurde in Englisch geführt. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Nürburg, direkt an der Burg, Parkplatz vor der Tür. Die Rezeption war unbesetzt. Im gebuchten Zimmer war das Bad verschlossen, worauf mir ein anderes zugewiesen wurde. Im engen Flur fand sich am Eingang kein Lichtschalter, aber eine gefährliche Stufe, über die man im Dunkel zwangsläufig stolpert. Im Zimmer fand sich kein TV, kein Hinweis auf W-Lan, kein Balkon, kein Ersatztoilettenpapier, keine heiße, sondern nur lauwarme Dusche sowie ein defektes Fenster (Kippmechanismus defekt). Vorhanden waren Seife, Duschgel + Handtücher. Der Raum und die gesamte Unterkunft erschien mir sauber.

Perfecte slaap plek.

Tijdens mij verblijf was ik de hele dag bij of op het circuit, heb er alleen geslapen. Was prima geregeld met ophalen van sleutel. Basic kamer. Ruim. Prima douche. Goed bed. Geen tierelantijntjes. Precies wat ik nodig had.

Good Base to stay.

Was welcomed on arrival and show straight to room. Room was clean and basic like a lot of places in the area so can’t fault it on that after all it’s just a base to sleep whilst enjoying the area. Bar facilities open at weekends. Restaurants very close bye as is the entrance to the castle. Only down side would be the steps up to the upper floor rooms if you have any walking difficulties. I am sure though they would accommodate this if pointed out. Overall would recommend.
