"Whilst nicely situated, with a smart restaurant and convenient water refilling facilities, the room faced two lifts which were audible from the room. I called inadvance of booking to ensure a quiet room as the hotel was at low occuoancy, placement by lifts with voices saying ehich floor it's going to seems inconsiderate placement.
Had i felt comfortable or atleast made aware, i'd have booked again as i was needing 4 further nights in town. I'm pleased to have been precautious and booked a trial night.
The VV restaurant is nice with pleasant staff and aesthetics. Like with many hotels now there is zero info in the room about accessing sauna/ breakfast etc., i proposed having this affixed to back of bedroom doors or in the communal lifts/ water stations. The door for sauna area wasn't labeled too. With simple things in place it can make for a calmer, easier stay.
Unfortunately the kettle didnt kettle. I give the benifit of the doubt that this was checked during the cleaning process and that a fuse went afterwards. They do provide a good espresso machine with pods and herbal teas. I think notice on certain rooms about noise transference would ensure less disgruntled reviews, aswell as complimentary earbuds."
