"We were lucky enough to stay in a 3-story house with a little kitchen/ living room and 4 bedrooms plus 2 bathrooms and a little garden in the back, it’s an easy walk the cathedral and the old town. The staff was super friendly with reservations and recommendations"
"Room, a jr. suite, was as expected, nice modern bathroom with separate toilet, good bed, nice couch to sit on, no a/c but we knew that, provided a nice Dyson fan, they had installed an elevator which made the 3rd floor access much easier, the staff was great, quiet area at the edge of the main old town main road. Never ate the breakfast buffet, but it looked good with nice selections.
Bayeux is a nice small town with friendly people."
"Domaine de Bayeux is a charming property located just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Bayeux. Set on spacious grounds, it combines a beautiful 18th-century main house with two more modern buildings. The staff were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was generous and enjoyable, and the gardens were beautifully maintained and pleasant to relax in. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a small area for making hot drinks.
The only drawback was the noise in the main building. Sound...
"The owner is very welcoming and the Chateau has an authentic feeling. The owner's mother is very warm and friendly. The history of the Chateau, which is also intriguing, should be written up and shared with guests as soon as they arrive. It was well located with the centre of Bayeux walking distance and many other beach towns a short drive away. It was a great place to stay."
"The experience provided by staff here was amazing. Everyone we connected with was kind, helpful, and went above and beyond. We didn’t get that kind of welcome feeling in Paris, so being here was an absolute treat. The bar is charming, breakfast was plentiful, and staff helped us with taxis, doctors, and offered carrying our bags up to the second floor. Would absolutely return again in the future, and hope to do so!"
"We could not do the visit due to a family emergency and needed to move the dates of our stay.. We had been scheduled to stay in one of the junior suites and were excited and looking forward to our trip. When approached regarding moving our stay the hotel staff were blunt, unhelpful and refused to even consider moving our visit to another date over the summer. Clearly this is a luxury hotel without any soul, pride or sense of retaining it’s reputation.. This is the poorest treatment we have had...
