"We appreciated coffee in our room. We didn’t do the breakfast because it was just going to be too much food for us. We did order some food in the bar and I would say that could be upgraded. Just bringing us an entrée that was in a jar and warmed up was not very good. Maybe add some soups to the menu."

"This is not a 4 star establishment. We have stayed on better 3 star. The property itself is beautiful but it is run down and with basic facilities, we went for breakfast at 9am and they had run out of most food items, no staff around to assist. Had to go to reception to be told there was only 1 member of staff manning the reception and assisting with breakfast, as she was busy we had to wait for her to be free and restock the breakfast food. We decided to leave without eating. The on site...

"We were the only people staying here for the evening and the family made us feel very welcome! The room was clean and tidy with ample space for our family of 4. Clean towels and a bonus heated radiator! The gentleman got up in the morning to make a lovely breakfast for us with lots of choices. If you are passing through Bayuex i highly recommend you stay here! Thank you! "

"Great hotel right in the center of Bayeux. Check-in was easy, loved having parking on site, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. Would stay here again!"

"Not enough superlatives to describe our three day stay. Simone, Violin and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. Worth it."

"Personnel très agréable et souriant. Confort de la chambre moyen, joints de baignoire tout moisis. Pas d'isolation entre la porte et le couloir, ce qui fait qu'on entend les gens parler, claquer leur porte et quand il y a un chien mal élevé comme ça a été notre cas on l'entend aboyé, un vrai régal. Localisation bien."

"This is a beautiful and Unique place to stay . It’s very clean and full of history. The breakfast was very good and when I mentioned I was celiac I was provided with gluten free bread safe in my own packaging from the bakery. It was close to the restaurants and the beach . We would definitely recommend staying here . "
