"Good size apartment with all the amenities to make you feel at home. The reception team were really helpful in welcoming us on our first day and walked us through the local area map pointing out restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores and the local station. They also helped with receiving some packages that I ordered on Amazon and filled in all the forms for forwarding our luggage to Haneda Airport. Would definitely stay here again."

"Loved our stay at 20 Pieces, wish we could have stayed longer. Great front desk staff, comfortable and clean room with plenty of space (hard to find in Japan sometimes). Right across the street from a beautiful temple, and less than ten minutes walk to the train station. Would highly recommend."

"It was difficult to communicate with the owner or manager. I booked a 5 nights stay. I had a problem with the washer was approved. The cleaning staff couldn't make it work. We noticed the manager about the problem. They answered me on 4 days later. It was to late by then. We reused our old clothes and packed the rest of the dirty clothes home."

"We had a larger room including a kitchenette, nice. The local staff are extraordinary. It’s easy to get around Kyoto by bus and Metro from the location with Google maps and an IC card such as pasmo. We enjoyed the sauna spa."

"Room was basic but fine and clean. Check in process was problematic and stressful given the access codes given did not work and two 6 year old children needing to use the facilities after a long trip. Eventually sorted, (first code didn’t work, second code likely worked but was miscommunicated) but took about an hour to get into the room which ruined our plans for the evening. Despite this the online reps were doing their best to provide assistance."

"The property was clean and had good amenities including a separate bath and toilet, a washing machine and a stove top. The area around the hotel was also quiet and safe with being walking distance to the Dontonburi street. The staff was also responsive and resolved all of our concerns promptly. "

"Great space however quite far from the train station very convenient supermarket within 2 min walk. Loved the bunk beds could pay to have toothbrushes. Also you have to set up other beds yourself so after a long walk prepare for that instead of straight away sleeping. They also have detergent next to washing machine and dish washing liquid next to the sink. Apart from the location I really enjoyed this. To check in you receive all the details in advance. After the entrance to the property...

"Great property. Room was great. Loves the in room laundry facility. The only downside is the hotel isn’t close to a lot. 15 minute walk to Kyoto station."
