"The room was nice. One of the nicest hotel showers I’ve seen. The pool and hot tub were also great. We missed getting to breakfast but the coffee bar was nice. Fresh ground coffee from beans is a nice feature. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again."

"The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed."

"Room was very clean aside from the bathroom mirror, I had front desk give me a rag & cleaner so I could clean it myself because by the time I checked in at 3pm housekeeping was gone for the day. We had a over all great time. Little bummed the sauna was out of service & breakfast wasn't included but there is a restaurant with 20% off coupon from hotel to use. We chose to not ro use that & just brought our own breakfast, dinner & snacks!"

"Had to ask for clean linen because the bedding looked dirty and not changed. Pool area was down. So no pool, no hot tub. Wasn’t aware as they never told us. Breakfast they offer is a joke. Everytime I went down they had 2-3 packages of plain oatmeal, barely any milk or cereal and a half loaf of bread that sat there for almost the 2 weeks I had stayed here in total. "Recently refreshed property. Definitely get the "mom and pop" feel, in a good way. Rooms are not overly spacious, but very clean and functional. The heated outdoor pool was a plus and every staff member we ran into, ask how are stay was and if they could do anything. Short ride from the Elroy/Sparta trail and 10min walk to many food/drink choices. Will stay here again on our next trip to Sparta."
