"This was our third stay at the Abbey and while we always have a wonderful time, this time was a little underwhelming on site. The first night of our stay they were reroofing a building which was very noisy - we woke up to this again at 7:30a Saturday morning and it continued throughout the morning. We enjoyed the harbor views but also found out that side of the hotel/lawn is much noisier at night with people out on the lawns than other rooms we have stayed in. The air conditioning in our room ran about every 15 minutes and was extremely noisy and sounded as if it was a working extremely hard. Coffee and drinks on site were great as well as being able to rent a boat on site."

"The breakfast was a microwave protein refrigerated microwave eggs refrigerated room was so musky that we had to buy air fresher for entire state we didn't get clean sheets and pull cases. And staff was rude. Will not ever stay here again. And I did not appreciate me having to spend my money on something like that. I could not move. We could not move because it had no more rooms. For the weekend not a great not even a not even an okay state Very, very disappointed in this trip. Airline kept missing picking both of us up with wheelchair accessibility even after asking 4 times. The best thing was the vehicle we rented. All an all sure i would never go back to the city we were in ever."

"The add said: Fairfield by Marriott is a franchised economy to midscale hotel brand of Marriott International. The properties target guests willing to accept fewer amenities for lower prices. Cost-saving measures included standardized building architecture and bedding, and the absence of a full-service restaurant, but a complimentary hot breakfast. Huge disappointment. I have stayed in Marriot's across the globe, and this was the worse. ECONOMY hotel is a gross overstatement. It looked like an old motel that Marriott bought for overflow for their main hotel in Whitewater, WI. I went for a college graduation and was very disappointed. No bathtub stopper (the tub drain was "fixed" for showers only =- no Kleenex, small bath towels...an embarrassment. AND NO ONE MENTIONED ANY HOT BREAKFAST... And obviously higher rates due to UW college graduation."
