"The basic hotel appearance and the design of the rooms was fine. The bed and pillows were great. There was plenty of hot water. But, the safe didn't work, and the person authorized to reset it wasn't on duty for the next two days. Also, the air conditioning was weak to start with, and it seems that it is on some kind of power management timer. In the middle of the night, I woke up sweating. The thermostat showed 25 degrees C, and the A/C was not running. I somehow woke it up, and it suceeded to get the room to 24.5°. That was not a pleasant night's sleep..... Maybe I'm too picky."

"Clean rooms, staff was very responsive and helpful. Service was excellent and Pablo was very helpful with directions in terms of fun, architecture, places to see and food. Will definitely be going back on our next visit to Bilbao."

"Spent one night before an early flight. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent. No hot eggs, but fresh fruit, bread and the variety was good. Much better than expected! The shuttle was a bit confusing. It parked where cars park for drop off. It was black (in US Holiday Inn shuttles are white) and I never saw the logo, which doesn’t mean it’s not there. Luckily my friend saw it, while I was checking out a different van. It does seem to come pretty often, 15 minutes or so."

"This is a Lovely Hotel with a great staff and good parking and a nice location that's walkable to the old town as well as the coast. It's totally modern and the beds are great! It has a lovely series of common rooms with couches and tables in the lobby as well. I wish the workout room had been open later it closed at 9:00 and didn't seem to be open often"

"Great hotel, perfect if you’re driving as there’s a large secure car park for 15 euros a night. Easy to get into the old town via regular bus service which stops outside the hotel. Lovely staff, comfy bed and great shower. This is the second time we have stayed here as we like it so much! "
