Hotels in Northern Shores, Greensboro

"I’ve stayed at numerous Country Inn and Suites hotels, and have had great experiences. This location (Greensboro) was the exception. Not only was it not clean, there were numerous other issues: -elevator was broken -location in an unsavory area -no peanut butter at breakfast -no sugar alternatives (sweet and low or Splenda) for coffee -carpeting on stairs is stained/unsightly -lots of dirt near inside of side door -bathroom had no towel hook -on a positive note, the beds and pillows were comfortable, even though there were no bedspreads"

"When I showed up at the hotel they told me it was oversold and they sent me to a Hilton Garden Inn, however they gave me the address to the wrong hotel. Even though I asked for confirmation that it was a hotel four miles away. So after a lecture by that properties manager regarding company billing. I contacted Embassy whe eventually gave me the correct address. An hour lost after a long workday. Hilton / Embassy you left this customer feeling very under appreciated. "

"There is plenty of parking all around the hotel as well as the office and there was plenty of room with a large desk and chair work area. The room was very clean and neat with plenty of towels. Rooms are nicely decorated, sheets were clean and bed was made nicely. The staff is exceptional especially at checkin.Front desk on duty was so accommodating and kind and went above and beyond .They might want to add possibly one cart with wheels for transporting luggage to and from rooms. The hotel is extremely quiet and all the other guests and residents here were polite and mannerly. They have ice buckets and an ice machine in lobby. spoke it's for ice and ice machine as well as soft drinks, juices, and a snack machine. They are handicapped accessible. Nice working dorm fridge and clean microwave. Rates are exceptional and there is room service to collect dirty towels etc when requested. Don't let the age and exterior, a work in progress fool you ...They are hard at work to build this hotel up to above standards and have done very very well since I was here last. They have a nice school in the center however it is not yet open for the season. Very nice, quiet stay. And don't forget your "pooch" cuz they are pet friendly!! Will return. Thank you everyone. "

"The breakfast was ok-the croissant sausage egg cheese was not good, then tried a bagel it was hard even when toasted, the fruit was good. The bathroom had hair on the tub, a wad of paper was stuck around the vent I guess for noise control and the sink water pressure was not good. Opened the refrigerator and there was a cup of water sitting in there. "
