Hotels near Northern Serengeti

"Staff that makes you feel like family, attention to detail, 5-star food, everything thought through in the rooms."

"Our experience was wonderful, the staff, food and the accommodation was immaculate. Loved our stay at FS Serengeti."

"This was absolutely a trip of a lifetime! The security was top notch, we did enjoy shining our flashlight out of the tent at night to see the "glowing eyes" . The lodge was great with the observation deck for animals and we even had water buffalo near the pool one afternoon while we were sunning with a G&T. The whole propery was clean and comfortable with first class service. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We had first class service the entire visit. Our guide through the...

"Remote glamping. Feels like a miracle that this camp in the middle of the Serengeti has hot water, electricity, Internet, and white tablecloth dining. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is not for the faint hearted or light sleeper. There are delightful animal noises at night. Baboons come into the camp at dusk. You need an escort to the dining tent after dark (easily arranged by telephone). I had a buffalo outside my tent one night. I never felt unsafe though. I would strongly recommend to...

"Een oase in de Serengeti! We hebben ons verblijf zelfs verlengd, zo fijn was het. Prachtige tenten, super personeel en heerlijk eten: Het complete plaatje. Het is wat ver (dik anderhalf uur) van de Mara-river, maar de perfecte plek om na een intense safari-dag aan te spoelen."

"Good for price but not luxury tent"

"Amazing property and management! Everything and everyone was very friendly and great! Rooms are huge, hot showers, amazing breakfast and dinner. Staff was super helpful and went beyond our needs. Definitely book, you will nit be sorry! We saw a lot of lions, zebras and other animals on the property."

"Great time was spent at the Ikoma Bush Camp. Located just outside the Ikoma Gate, it was a great location to the Serengeti National Park. Staff were extremely kind and friendly- especially Paul and Agray. The food was delicious! I would recommend this Tented Camp to anyone looking for a place to stay with close proximity to the park!"

"IEverything was amazing , specially Julius , John and all the staff with great heart. Can"t wait to come back ."

"This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to. I'm an adventurer and this was my favorite of all the places we stayed, but not for everyone. It could use some maintenance, but overall the food was great and is a one of a kind accommodation. We booked and paid for...

"Nice location, spacious tent with luxurious design. We got to watch a group of wildebeest running in front of our tent and also had pumabaa visited too. Staff are very helpful to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Highly recommend."

"All good staff was very polite and carrying"

"Friendly helpful staff. Good dinner"

"Zimmer makellos. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit"

"La struttura è molto spartana, il mangiare è scarso e non buono. Abbiamo avuto lunch box con panini vuoti! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è assurdo! ...poi il serengheti ripaga di ogni inconveniente!"

"We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. When we went to the front desk to request a portable fan were we told none were available. We ended up sitting outside the room until 1800. We...
