"Room was very good, and general property was okay. I had lots of trouble actually getting in the place with the instructions; fortunately, in the pouring rain a resident came along, let me in the place, then gave me helpful instructions for accessing my room. This type of property with no on-site person often presents problems in initial access. "

"Hovdehytta har en fantastisk beliggenhet. Innsjekk og utsjekk gikk smertefritt. Leiligheten bærer tydelig preg av å være dedikert til utleie. Sparsomt innredet og lite "hyttekoselig". I en leilighet for 5 personer er det kun 7 av hver ting i kjøkkenskapene. Dette bidrar til at oppvaskmaskinen må kjøres ofte. 2min. kjøretur til skitrekket. Gåavstand til butikker, badeland etc. Bilen sto tørt i garasje."

"The family enjoyed the apartment, it was clean and very comfortable. The location was OK. One thing I did not like was was communicating through Expedia. Expedia app is not convenient to use for communicating with the property, and the app also prevented exchange of email addresses (which would have been much more convenient once we were on the road and working from mobile phones). "

"The location was central, close to the Old Town and walking distance to the port. However, the bed was too soft and my mother has a bad back so we slept on the floor. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. The pillows were lumpy. I went hiking to Pulpit Rock and got back pain after two nights of poor sleep. There was easy street parking but you need to pay, the host didn't mention it so we got a ticket. The bathroom was tiny but the living room was spacious."

"Stedet er rolig og familievennlig, samtidig som det er overraskende sentralt. Kjøpesenteret står i gangavstand og bussforbindelsene er gode. Leiligheten var romslig, enkel og ren, men hadde likevel alt som trengtes av artikler til dagliglivet med oppvask og klesvask. Anbefales!"

"Det står at stedet har 2 soverom og jeg tolket det som 2 senger. Men det er 1 seng og 1 sofa som ikke kan slåes ut som seng. Litt misvisende. Leiligheten er fin og ligger sentralt, men det var ganske kaldt i Stavanger da vi var der og det fantes bare 1 ovn som måtte deles på."

"The wrong telephone number and incomplete address was shown on the hotels.com website. After chatting with an AI bot I found the correct number to call and was able to talk to the host. They explained that important messages/information sent to the customers often dont get received. The accomodation in itself was in a prime location. Fairly easy to park the car in the close area although this cost quite a lot of money. The toilet door wouldnt close properly and the drain in the kitchen sink ...

"This property was in a lovely area but was not set up for the required amount of people staying e.g. bedding and towels. The tv did not seem to work. It was very small for a family but might suit smaller groups."
