"Generally very good: room, staff, location, breakfast, facilities, cleanliness. Balcony light was not working on arrival. Technician sent following our first request for attention claimed that the light fitting “was not a light”. Fixed by technician sent following our second request for attention. We were gifted by a relative a voucher for a meal at the Minoa restaurant at the hotel. The process to redeem this voucher was rather complex, involving three visits to the reception area and communication between my mobile phone and that of our waiter."

"Breakfast was really good! Very tasty buffet. The facilities were cleqn and well cared for. The kids loves the outdoor heated pool qnd the views were amazing."

"We loved staying here. The hotel staff and property were wonderful. The rooms were clean and of a good size. The staff were very helpful with any questions or needs. The property was well kept with a bar and lobby area to relax in after a day of exploring. The breakfast had a great selection to choose from and was an excellent start to the day. The location was close to main bus station for easy access to explore. There were many areas close to dine and shop. Only disappointment was that the pool was being worked on so we were unable to use. Very safe area to stay and we would stay here again."

"The hotel is in Mellieha in the centre of a residential area. The room I had overlooked the street. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom modern and clean. There is a kitchen area in the room for self catering. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Of particular mention is Asmita on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. She seemed to have a difficult client on the phone but handled it well. My room was close to reception. There wasn't noise during the night, but early in the morning I was woken by footsteps and voices in the corridor. The outdoor pools look amazing. It was too cold to swim outdoors in March. However, there is a small indoor pool. It was very busy during the day, but I had it to myself in the morning. There is a small well-equipped gym. The air-conditioning in there was very loud. Some of the equipment was broken. The belt on the treadmill was slipping quite dangerously. I reported this to reception so hopefully its sorted by the time you read this. The cave bar is a great place for drinks, especially during happy hour. I didn't eat there but there is a food menu. I ate dinner and breakfast in the main restaurant. Dinner was fantastic but no drinks are included, the drinks menu was expensive €4 for 1l of sparkling water (its about €0.65 in a nearby supermarket for 1.5l) Overall it's a great hotel. I don't think you'd be dissapointed if you book here. However, there are better options in Malta for the money."

"The hotel is in an ideal location in the North of Malta. Close to the Gozo Ferry port. There are bus stops about 2 minutes away with Buses to many destinations in Malta, including the airport. There are many countryside walks available. The hotel offers guided walks. check the notice board in the lobby The room I had was amazing. comfortable bed, nice view over the outdoor pools. While there's no bottled water in the rooms, there are filtered water machines on every floor near the lifts. Make sure you have a large water bottle. I didn't use the outdoor pools but they looked clean. The indoor pool was busy, However I went as soon as it opened in the morning and had it to myself. It was clean, at a good temperature and there wasn't a bad smell that others have mentioned. Be aware that until the spa opens at 10am there are no segregated changing rooms. The gym is ok. Some of the equipment needs maintenance, or preferably replacing. It looks like it has been there a long time. There weren't many free weights on the rack. it looked like two thirds of the slots were empty The hotel looks quite modern. I like that in the corridors there's plugin air fresheners, the floor I was on smelled like a cross between mint and pine. The bar prices are reasonable. If you go at happy hour its even cheaper. Service at the bar downstairs was amazing. However the 1st floor bar was very slow. around 15 minutes to place an order and almost 30 for the drink to arrive. The food in the restaurant"

"The hotel offers clean rooms and a very friendly staff, which made the stay pleasant. One of the highlights is the rooftop pool with amazing views. The food is good, although the selection is somewhat limited, and at breakfast there were no pancakes or omelettes available. If you are renting a car, parking can be an issue. Overall, the hotel is a good choice, especially outside of the high season."
