"Our family loved our stay at the Volcano Lodge. It was close to Fortuna and had an incredible view of the volcano. The pool and the 3 thermal hot springs areas were magical. The swim up bar in the hot spring pool was very unique. Breakfast was very tasty each morning and the staff was super friendly. Our bungalow room opened up on a patch of forest where we’d sit on chairs and watch a parade of exotic birds and butterflies fly by. We would highly recommended it!"

"Absolutely beautiful property. We stood in the Smithsonian room. Absolutely gorgeous view of the volcano. Room as described. Our only regret was not reserving a room with mini fridge. No AC as described but it was not needed. Everyone was absolutely attentive and always ready to answer questions. We ate most of our meals in the restaurant preferring to stay nearby to relax. Yes the road is rough for the first mile entering the property but well worth the ride! We didn’t want to leave! We hope to...

"We stayed here recently with a group of 5 and really enjoyed our stay. The resort itself is very beautiful. The rooms were lovely and spacious, with a fantastic view. The A/C in the rooms were great. The resort had a couple areas to explore, like a frog sanctuary, hummingbird gallery, and a hiking trail. Just be careful as the hummingbird gallery is the the end of the hiking trail, so we ended up going through the hiking trail while we were exploring the hummingbird gallery area. We had the free...
