Hotel Pantai di Northern Plains

"I’ve stayed at luxurious hotels over the years and Hotel Sanctuarium has been my absolute favorite. From the moment we arrived it was clear this place is something special. If anything it’s even better than the photos. Everything feels brand new, impeccably clean and beautifully designed. The lush gated grounds are incredibly private and we felt completely safe the entire time. There are scenic paths in every direction, even leading down to a little river with a waterfall, plus stunning volcano...

"The staff made this place extra nice. I asked to borrow their microwave on some leftovers and she even plated it nicely and gave us silverware to use. Breakfast is pretty good. I wished there was a screen on the patio door or window so I can leave it open for extra ventilation without letting bugs in. The room can get humid too. The bathroom is a nice size, but for some reason water easily splashes out of the shower and gets the floor outside of it wet."

"Beautiful property with lots of lush greenery. The sounds of the birds every morning were so soothing to hear from the porch. Arenal volcanic national park is nearby and there are so many hot springs around this hotel. "

"The rooms at this hotel were a perfect size. I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the room and it had keys so you could lock it if you left with all your belongings inside of it. Everything seemed brand new. The only thing was I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower lol the only recommendation I would have would be to put a nightstand in the bedroom as there is nowhere to set anything. Overall, it was an excellent stay, very very clean nice location."
