"The hotel is amazing. The lobby is gorgeous and like a Western movie Museum, as is part of the second floor. Nice leather chairs all over to sit, relax and enjoy your surroundings. Great restaurant and shops to buy gifts. Room was a bit small but very comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend this ad a place to stay."

"Pool and hot tub closed. Road into hotel closed one way. Parking lot too small. Got towed and had to pay to get my car back. Oscar at front desk was helpful and refunded my stay, but it was only a fraction of what the tow was."

The one very disappointing aspect of our stay was that the bathroom only had one little bar of soap for handwashing and for showering. "Excellent location and convenient free parking. Staff was welcoming. As a historic (older) hotel, there is no elevator so be ready for stairs to access 2nd floor rooms. The downstairs bar is nice with frequent bands. Would definitely stay there again."

"I liked having the vanity/sink area outside the bathroom. For me, it made it easy to do makeup and hair while another was taking a shower. The room was relatively quiet and had a roll down blackout shade. The breakfast was top notch, with offerings such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. I would definitely stay here again as the price was also reasonable."
